Highweald
This high-end project, the refurbishment and restoration of a Victorian property and its surrounding grounds, took place over 12 months and cost £400,000.
Our client’s goal was to restore their beautiful 19th-century home to its elegant best, with a back-to-brick refurbishment combining traditional opulence with a contemporary, modern style for living.
There was extensive internal and external redecoration, including new floor finishes throughout the property.
We made substantial alterations to the existing design to create a modern, spacious, hand-crafted kitchen diner. In addition, we designed and built a beautiful new orangery in the form of a single-storey oak-framed extension. Bespoke timber sash windows were fitted for a feeling of air and light.
Every couple’s dream – his and hers bathrooms – are now a key feature.
Our team worked with specialist tradespeople to rewire, replumb and replaster throughout the entire house. There is also a new slate roof.
The design and construction of a wrap-around patio completed this extensive refurbishment.
